This looks cool. I wish there was something going on around here.

Scooter Trash at the Cossacks Show

Rough looking characters at the Cossacks Show.  They're probably just looking for some sensitive actor type on a Triumph to beat up on...

Welding

Got the welding finished up today. I drilled the bottom hole in the fender and I think I'm about committed to the length. Now I'm trying to get the balls to drill the upper holes...

Falcon

Been a while since I posted a Falcon bike. I was checking out the new Falcon website over the weekend. Awesome. Super nice guys too.

Welding Update

Trent called today and was really cool about finishing up my stuff. He was out at the Biltwell Bash as I suspected. I'm planning to meet up with him on Wednesday morning to finish up all the welding.

It's Alive 2.0

Weeks Progress

Flathead45 and I made some pretty satisfying progress on the Triumph this week. We knocked out a ton of stuff that's not particularly interesting in terms of a blog posting. I would like to show off my new combo tail light/brake light bracket. I hope to meet up with the welder sometime in the next week or two.

Thanks for everything Rob, we are already missing you guys.

Born Loser

This was lifted from the Born Loser blog. The content is not typically quite this wholesome. Cool blog and Mike D has built some of my all time favorite Triumphs.

More from Lurkingclass

I prefer the Triumph tank he was running over this Wassell but this bike is still just sick. This is a non-loop David Bird hardtail with the same stretch and drop as mine.

Life Magazine Photo Archives

I spent a little time screwing around with the Life photo archive this morning. It would be easy to loose a couple days there if you weren't careful. Flathead45 previously showed me the vices of Shorpy which is truly just amazing.

Cool Idea

I stumbled across an idea this morning I'd not seen before. The following is one of the ways guys are enhancing the vintage look of their bikes much like faux patina, rust finishes, running original condition vintage tires, etc. IMO the bike in these photos is a little over done but I would really like to work a little of this into my build. It would be especially effective on a bike like Rob's that's authentically AARP age. I wonder if Trent does any knitting/crochet. Thanks to the Vintagent for bringing it to my attention.
